Dr. Quincy Attipoe is a man on a mission! He began his education in Ghana and continued in Nigeria where he graduated with a Higher National Diploma in Dental Technology. He worked in government hospitals and at the same time managed his private dental laboratory in Ghana as a Certified Dental Technologist for three years.
In 1999, he migrated to the US with the sole purpose to make it big! He worked as a car wash attendant and later as a cashier in a grocery supermarket in Lubbock, Texas. He later moved to Dallas, Texas to get ready for dental school. At the same time, he took a job as dental laboratory technician with Stern Reed Dental Lab. He rose to become the section leader in the Removable Prosthodontics department. In 2003, while at University of Texas at Dallas, he was accepted and enrolled into dental school at the prestigious Baylor College of Dentistry in Dallas, Texas. By dint of hard work and perseverance, he graduated in 2007 and was adjudged and awarded the ‘Best-of-the-Best’ in Prosthodontics, a Warerpik award.
In the same year, he opened Amazing Grace Family Dentistry, PC, in Dallas. He began with five employees. In 2010, he opened a second dental practice in Mesquite, Texas. This was followed up in 2012 with yet another office in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Currently, Amazing Grace Family Dentistry, PC has 14 employees, comprising 5 general dentists, 1 hygienists, 14 dental assistants, 9 front office staff, 4 accounting and billing staff, 2 managers and 6 marketing staff.
Dr. Quincy Attipoe is the president, founder and Chief Executive Officer, overseeing the operations of this rapidly growing enterprise.
In 2016, Dr. Q, as he is affectionately called, opened Kharis Dental, PC with its first office located in Mesquite, Texas. This was followed by yet another dental clinic in South Texas, Eleganz Dentistry, P.C. This is in line with his philosophy of adapting to the ever changing health and dental landscape.
Apart from his passion in dentistry, Dr. Q also has a car dealership, Amazn Grace Autohaus, in Accra, Ghana. The company specializes in the sales and rental of new and used cars. It has 4 salaried workers and 2 commission based workers.
Dr. Quincy, who became a naturalized US citizen in 2006, also has a heart for philanthropy. He is the Executive Director of Amazing Grace Missions, USA and Smile Village Foundation, Ghana. These two NGOs collaborate to provide free dental care to children and adult in deprived communities in Africa and Central America. They have completed and handed over a state-of-the-art computer learning center in Anyako in the Volta Region of Ghana.
Dr. Quincy has a wealth of experience in managing start-up and established businesses. He has been recognized both in the US(Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry) and Ghana (MTN Hero of Change 2018) for his philanthropy and is a recipient of several Humanitarian awards.
